Mekong View Tower is a luxury serviced apartment and condominium development with truly spectacular views over Phnom Penh city and the Mekong, Tonle Sap and Bassac Rivers. Uniquely, Phnom Penh is the only capital city in the world to be located on the confluence of four major rivers: Those rivers are the Upper Mekong, Lower Mekong, the Tonle Sap and the Bassac. The Mekong is the 12th largest river in the world and the 7th largest in Asia. It runs 4,350 km (2,703 mi) from its source on the Tibetan Plateau to the sea in Vietnam. The extreme seasonal variations in flow and the presence of rapids and waterfalls in this river have made navigation extremely difficult. The section though Cambodia is wide and serves as a major navigation route for shipping. Phnom Penh has its our river port which handles containerization and other cargoes. The Mekong basin is one of the richest areas of biodiversity in the world, and fishing provides a vital livelihood for many. The total number of fish species is not known but over 1200 species of fish have been identified and there could be possibly as many as 1700. No other river is home to so many species of very large fish. The biggest include the giant river carp which can grow up to 1.5 metres (4 ft 11 in) and weigh 70 kilograms (150 lb), the Mekong Freshwater Stingray which can have a wingspan of up to 4.3 metres (14 ft), the giant pangasius, Siamese giant carp and the endemic Mekong giant catfish. All these species are in serious decline, mainly due to dams, flood control and overfishing.
The Tonle Sap River is is part of the vast lake river system that is the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia, It is an ecological hot-spot designated a UNESCO biosphere in 1997. The river is unusual in that its river current changes direction twice a year. From November to May, Cambodia's dry season, the Tonlé Sap drains into the Mekong River at Phnom Penh. However, when the year's heavy rains begin in June, the Tonlé Sap backs up to form an enormous lake. The turning of the tide in November is the trigger for the annual Water Festival in Phnom Penh, when hundreds of dragon boats are raced in front of the City's Riverside area. This event and the 2 million annual visitors who flock to the city are visible on the webcams. The Bassac River starts and ends in the Mekong River; Its source is wider and more powerful than the deltas of other rivers. The Bassac flows back into the Mekong in Vietnam. The Bassac River is a popular entry and exit route for the locals between Cambodia and Vietnam and is used for transporting goods between the two countries.

All 116 apartments are finished to a very high standard. Each offer stunning views over the surrounding countryside: Some have views of the Mekong River, others the view over Phnom Penh City. The accommodation comes in 100 and 200 square metre configurations.
Internally, each apartment is complete with Cable TV, International Direct Dialing telephone services and Internet Broadband/Wi-Fi.
There are two accommodation types at Mekong View Tower, Standard and Premium. The main difference between the two is size; standard apartments are 100 square metres and Premium 200 square metres.
The amenities and services are specially designed to provide a perfect mix of privacy, comfort and peace of mind including Air conditioning, washing machine, refrigerator, Cable TV and DVD player, telephone and Internet Access, fully-equipped kitchen with cooking utensils, dining set and cutleries.
LONG TERM MONTHLY RENTAL FEE: US$550 - US$1400
TERMS:
• Tariff will be offered to tenant who prefer to lease not less than six-month term and will be applied to tenant who desires to move in before or by Dec 31, 2012 ONLY!
• Apartment units are fully furnished and included with cable TV, garbage collection, scheduled cleaning service, parking lot, free of charge using
Gym, swimming pool for 2 persons (in term of staying in 2 Bedrooms Standard, Superior or Executive) and for 4 persons (in term of staying in 3 Bedrooms Premium).
• Tariff excludes electricity, water supply, gas, personal laundry, telephone, Internet service, and other common recreation charges.
EXTRA SERVICES AND UTILITY CHARGES:

- Water US$ 0.30 per meters cube
- Cooking gas US $20-$25 per 15Kg gas cylinder

The fully air-conditioned fitness and gym center is the ideal place to exercise in comfort. Treadmills, stepper machines and other exercise machines will help you keep in shape. Working out couldn't be more convenient at Mekong View Tower.
Swimming Pool
The standard sized open-air swimming pool is surrounded by sun-loungers and canopied seating and tables. The swimming pool is divided into several depths, making it suitable for adults and children alike: Pool attendants are on-duty at all times to ensure your safety. It has its own dedicated shower and toilet facilities.
For your convenience and comfort, a pool-side bar offers refreshments and snacks.
Table Tennis and Snooker
The center has two table tennis tables and a snooker table.
